We all like to think of our homes as a safe haven. The place where we go to after an exhausting day at work, where we lay our kids down to sleep at night knowing that they are going to be just there when we wake up. It is important that we keep our homes safe, and we do everything in our power to ensure the same. Automated lights that can be toggled with our iPhone, fire alarms and carbon monoxide detectors to warn us of incoming danger, cameras to keep a pair of eyes upon us as we sleep, there is so much that technology has to offer in terms of safeguarding our fortress. However, such efficient techniques of home automation also come with a certain amount of vulnerability. Luckily for us, such vulnerabilities can be plugged, leaving us free to enjoy the myriad advantages of home automation It is a deliciously tempting offer to be one of the selected few who call themselves the proud owners of a smart home. Often the success of even a well-planned job lies in diligent construction administration. We believe in the importance of the architect’s presence throughout the construction process and are dedicated to full-service construction administration.
Although the contractor is responsible for building in accordance with the plans and specifications, the design team should be active in helping to ensure that the construction of the facility adheres to those plans and specifications. The team is responsible for seeing that the construction contractor’s methodology and schedule is appropriate and accurately implemented to the extent our agreement allows. Complete and accurate progress information, including minutes of weekly meetings, RFIs and other communication techniques, are distributed to as broad a list of interested parties as feasible.
Nature Design.In provides leadership for the construction contract administration phase of our work, providing support for the entirety of the project. We are intimately familiar with the big picture view of our projects before entering into the process of nuts and bolts.
At Nature Design.In, our goal is to create buildings that have a restorative, positive impact on the building’s inhabitants and to reduce the negative impact of construction on the environment. We have practiced sustainability in architecture since the early 2010s and believe in using an analytical approach to optimizing building performance.
